Whether you are a College, Training Provider, or Employer Provider, we can tailor our support package to meet your needs supporting you through the end-point assessment process. Quest EPAO can carry out end-point assessment throughout England.

Quest EPAO has a previous history in delivering apprenticeships, working primarily in Health and Social Care, Child Care, Generic Business and Management as well as Supporting Teaching and Learning sectors prior to morphing into an end-point assessment organisation, so we understand your needs


All centres, regardless of size will have access to Quest EPAO’s support network consisting of:

Account Manager – Your named account manager will be your main business contact ensuring that:

  • You are familiar with the end-point assessment process

  • Your staff are trained on the Quest E-Portal and exam platform

  • contracts are in place

  • you have access to ongoing support as required

  • you have all the necessary Quest EPAO contact phone numbers and email addresses 

Customer Support – Customer support is there to provide operational day to day support ensuring that each apprentice’s end-point assessment journey is smooth and timely. The main areas they will support you with include:

  • Centre Recognition

  • Apprentice registration

  • Gateway processing

  • End-Point Assessment planning

  • Results and grading

  • Log-ins for Quest EPAO’s E-Portal and examination platform

  • Access to documentation

  • Lead End-Point Assessor – You will have access to a Lead End-Point Assessor for each of the End-Point Assessments you have apprentices preparing for end-point assessment in.


The Lead End-Point assessor will not be the end-point assessor for any of your apprentices but will be able to clarify any queries you have with regard to the end-point assessment plan or queries with the standard. They will ensure you have access to the practice assessments.


Centre Recognition

Centre recognition is an important but relatively straightforward process and is in place to ensure that we:

  • Understand your needs

  • Check whether you are able to invigilate the knowledge tests (where allowed by the end-point assessment plan)

  • Familiarise your team on the E-Portal and examination platform

  • Set you up on our systems and ensure that you have your log-in information

Our Digital Solution

Quest EPAO has developed a digital solution minimising paper-based documentation and ensuring that you are not sending additional spreadsheets and apprentice information in addition to using the easy to use portal.


The apprentice can be added at anytime after you have enrolled the apprentice, enabling you to upload information and certificates, as they are achieved in readiness for Gateway.


The portal will also allow tracking of the estimated Gateway date and apprentice location ready for End-Point Assessment. The portal combines the registration and results process within the assessment system.

Quest EPAO have partnered with Ecordia to provide Quest’s EPA E-Portal. The E-Portal enables: 

  • EPA Registration 

  • Apprentice tracking through the learning period

  • Tracking of the Estimated Gateway date 

  • Gateway Checklist 

  • Gateway Review 

  • Online Booking and EPA allocation

  • Online Meetings (recordable) 

  • EPA Results and Tracking 

  • Messaging, Email Notifications and Alerts 

  • Linked to the examination platform

Quest E-Portal is linked to EDExams examination platform, which provides a testing platform for apprentices. This enables:

  • Instant results for MCTs, fewer paper forms and a more rewarding experience for students

  • Browser-based testing with no need for locally installed software

  • Online and offline testing available

  • Easy to use and quick to learn

  • Practice tests for apprentices to use

  • MCQ and Short answer tests
