This apprenticeship is for frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives. Lead Adult Care Workers have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance and direction for others or working independently, exercising judgement and accountability.

Your apprentice completes over 12-24 months a Level 3 Diploma in Care, will complete their Care Certificate and achieve Level 2 in English and Maths. This is completed with an Apprenticeship Certificate in Lead Adult Care Worker.


Lead Adult Care Workers will often have delegated responsibility for the standard of care and may supervise the work of other care workers. They make a positive impact to someone's life when they are faced with a variety of challenges, helping and supporting adult needs to achieve their personal goals and live independently and safely, with their own choices and control of life.
